मेमरीज़  ऑफ़  मर्डर

    मेमरीज़   ऑफ़  मर्डर    का   एक शो    हमारे    अकोला  के  फिल्म  क्लब में  १३/१२/२०  को  दिखया  गया. मैंने  ये  फिल्म  २-३  बार  पहले  भी  देखी  थी....लेकिन इस बार बड़े स्क्रीन और  बढ़िया क्वालिटी  के साउंड के साथ इस फिल्म का मजा कुछ और ही था. फिल्म  की  कहानी  बेस्ड  हैं दक्षिण कोरिआ  में   १९८० के दशक  में   हुए सीरियल किलिंग  और  उसके   छान बिन  के बारे  में. उस  समय  रही घटिया ,सदी  गली   सिस्टम  में   काम  करते  पुलिस  डिपार्टमेंट और  उनके   छान  बिन  के  तौर  तारीकी   इस   फिल्म   का   खास    हिस्सा     रहा   हैं . कैसे    भी   करके    केस  को  सोल्व  करो   और खुनी   को   ढूंढो  इस   तरह  की  हमारे   फिल्म   के   नायक   डिटेक्टिव   पार्क    की   मानसिकता   शुरुवात  में दिखाई   गयी   हैं  . 

   पार्क (सांग  कांग-हो)  जो की   एक  पुलिस   डिटेक्टिव    हैं. और   उसका  साथी   डिटेक्टिव   चो-  योंग  (रोए -है  किम ) शहर  में  होनेवाले  सीरियल  किलिंग  का  केस  इन  दोनों को सुलझाने  को मिलता  हैं. पुलिस  डिपार्टमेंट ने डिटेक्टिव  पार्क  को   मदत  करने  के  लिए  एक और डिटेक्टिव   सीओ ( किम  संग -क्युंग) को  भेजा  हैं. सीओ  केस  को  सुलझाने  के  लिए  नए  तरीके इस्तेमाल  करता हैं  और   डिटेक्टिव पार्क   पुराने  और  पारम्परिक और घटिया   तरीके  से केस  को सॉल्व  करने  में  लगा  हुआ  हैं, केस सॉल्व   करते  करते  दोनों   डिटेक्टिव   मतलब  सीओ  और  पार्क  के  बिच  में  नोकझोक   चलती  रहती  हैं. और   साथ  ही  में    सीरियल  किलर  शहर  की  लड़किया  को  मारता   रहता  हैं. ये तो  एक  वन   लाइनर   में  मैंने   कहानी  बताई  हैं.

   लेकिन  कहते  हैं    की  फिल्म  के   कहानी   और   किरदारों    को    एक  से  ज्यादा   लेयर्स  हो   तो  वो फिल्म   एक  अच्छी  फिल्म  मानी   जाती  हैं. मेमोरीज  ऑफ़ मर्डर  भी  ऐसी  ही  एक फिल्म  हैं.डायरेक्टर  बोंग  जून हो  ने  बड़ी  ही कुशलता से   कैमरा में   कहानी   को   पकड़ा  हैं   और  किरदारों   को  अच्छे   एक्टर्स   से   काम   करवाकर  फिल्म  को   दर्शको के सामने    पेश  किया  हैं.मैं  बहोत  ज्यादा   स्पोइलर  नहीं  दूंगा ,आप  ये  फिल्म   खुद  देखे ,  मैं   इस  फिल्म  के   कहानी  और   डायरेक्शन    के लेयर्स    के बारे  में    बात  करना  चाहूंगा. 

  फिल्म  के  शुरुवात  में   एक  बच्चा  क्रिकेट   कीड़ा  पकड़ते   हुए   और   बोतल  में   डालते  हुए  दिखाया  गया  हैं, जब  ये  बच्चा क्राइम  सिन  के  करीबआकर  बैठता है तो  डिटेक्टिव  पार्क  उस बच्चे को दूर  रहने    के लिए  कहता  हैं, तब ये  बच्चा  डिटेक्टिव  की  नक़ल करता  हैं . खुनी को  लड़की का रेप  करते  वक़्तऔर  खून   करते वक़्त  मजा  आ रहा था और  वैसा  ही  मजा  बच्चे  को  कीड़े  को पकड़ते  वक़्त और  बोतल  में  डालते  वक़्त  रहा  था. क्यों के  डायरेक्टर  को  यहाँ  पर  ये  कहना   हैं  जब   खुनी   खून  कर रहा था  तो  इस बच्चे ने  शायद  उसे  देखा  था.       

  एक   सिन  हैं   जहा  हमें सीनियर  डिटेक्टिव अपने प्रोटोजोनिस्ट  डिटेक्टिव पार्क  से  पूछते  हैं की सामने बैठे  दो  लोगो  में से  बताओ की  कौन  गिल्टी और  कौन  नहीं? अपना  नायक  नहीं  बता  पाता.जहाँपर  अपना नायक डिटेक्टिव पार्क   पारपरिक और उनलोजिकल मेथड्स का इस्तमाल   करता हैं वही दूसरा   एक उसका साथी डिटेक्टिव सीओ  नए और मॉडर्न और सही तरीके इस्तेमाल करता हैं.

   इस  फिल्म  के सिन कम्पोजीशन की बात करे तो एक सिन हैं जहाँपर फिल्म में दूसरे  लड़की का मर्डर  होता  हैं. वहापर नायक  डिटेक्टिव पार्क  को कैमरा फॉलो करता हुआ जाता हैं,   पीछे एक स्लोप से उनका सीनियर   अफसर  निचे गिर जाता हैं.पार्क  जाकर मर्डरर  के पाँव  के निशान पर सर्कल बनाता  हैं. पार्क    पीछे मुड़ता और हम देखते हैं की फॉरेंसिक एक्सपर्ट भी उसी स्लोप से निचे गिरता हैं जहा से पार्क   का सीनियर  ऑफीसर  फिसलकर  नीचे  गिरा था, और तभी  एक  ट्रेक्टर आकर पार्क  के बनाये सर्कल  के ऊपर से गुजर जाता हैं. डायरेक्टर   ने    ये   बताया   हैं   की   उस  समय  का  साउथ   कोरिया  का    सिस्टम  कितने   निचले  स्तर  का था.यहाँ पर   पहले   ही   पता   चलता   हैं  की  इस  केस   को  अभी   न   पुलिस  डिपार्टमेंट सोल्वे  कर   पायेगा   और  नाही   ही   फॉरेंसिक   डिपार्टमेंट  . साथ   ही   कैमरा इस तरह से इतेमाल किया  गया हैं की हमें जान पड़ता  हैं की  किलर  भी  डिटेक्टिव  पार्क  के साथ ही हैं.  

    हमे डायरेक्टर  बार  बार   अलग अलग  किरदारों द्वारा   हम  क्राइम  सिन  पर  उनके  पॉइंट  ऑफ़  व्यू  से  पोहचते रहते  हैं, साथ  ही असली  किलर  भी   हमें  बार  बार  क्राइम  सिन  पर  ले जाता  हैं.  ये   पार्क   की     मेमोरी  हैं. पार्क   हर  एक  लिड को  जानकर  उसके  पीछे पड़ता हैं, कैमरा   पार्क   के पॉइंट  ऑफ़ व्यू   से बात  करता  हैं  जो की   किलर  का  भी  पॉइंट  ऑफ़  व्यू  हैं.फिल्म  में   किलर क  कुछ  पता नहीं  चलता .  फिल्म  किलर कोण हियँ   इस सवाल   के सस्पेंस   के साथी  ही   ख़त्म  होती  हैं. क्राइम   सिन  पर   होनेवाले   सिन   भी  बड़े ही अच्छे,एनर्जेटिक, और  स्लो  मोशन   में   दर्शाये  गए  हैं.

   फिल्म  के   एक  और  आस्पेक्ट पर  करते  हैं. साउथ   कोरिया   में   ग्वांगजू हत्याकांड   हुआ  था  उसका   बहोत  सा   असर  फिल्म  के   डिटेक्टिव  किरदारों पर दीखता हैं.इस हत्याकांड    में   डेमोक्रेटिक   राइट्स    के लिए   एक आंदोलन  किया था.  पर वहा  के   पुलिस   डिपार्टमेंट   और  सरकार ने  उस  आंदोलन  को   खत्म  किया,जिसमे   बहोत  से लोग  पुलिस   डिपार्टमेंट  द्वारा मारे गए, फिल्म  में   सीधे  सीधे  तो  नहीं  पर    इसका    प्रभाव    जरूर  रखा हुआ  हैं,  इसीलिए   पुलिस  डिपार्टमेंट  को  बड़ी  आसानी से झूठे   सबूत  बनाते हुए,  और   लोगो  बड़ी  आसानी  से    सस्पेक्ट बनाते   हुए  दिखाया  गया हैं.  इस  बात से डिटेक्टिव  पार्क  भी  वाकिब  हैं इसीलिए  भले ही झूठे सबूत  बनाकर   पार्क  मासूम  लोगो  को  सस्पेक्ट  बनाकर  केस  को  रफादफा   करना  चाहता  है पर    वो  अपने   सुसपेक्ट  से  इंट्रोगेशन    के  वक़्त  सक्ति नहीं  बरतता   हैं.आखिर  में  दूसरा    डिटेक्टिव   सीओ अपने सही   इन्वेस्टीगेशन   करने  के  रास्ते  से  भटक  जाता हैं  और    सबसे  आखरी वाले    सस्पेक्ट   को मारने   वाला  होता हैं.   लेकिन  तभी   अपना  नायक    डिटेक्टिव  पार्क  आकर   सीओ  को  रोक  लेता  हैं, और सबसे   ज्यादा मजबूत सस्पेक्ट   को  जाने  देता  हैं  क्यों  के   उसके  सीमेन   के सैंपल  खुनी   के   सीमेन   सैंपल   से  मैच  नहीं   होते. और  पार्क के  जनता हैं  की सड़ी  गली   सिस्टम    से   पैदा  हुए  हम  पुलिस  डिपार्टमेंट   के  लोग हैं ,लेकिन   अब  बस  हुआ,    हम भी   सिर्फ  शक   के  बिना  पर  किसी  सस्पेक्ट  को सजा   नहीं देंगे . ये ही सही  हैं.

    फिल्म   के  आखरी   सिन  में  नायक   डिटेक्टिव   पार्क   वापस उसी  जगह  पर  बरसो  बाद  आता  हैं ,पार्क  अभी सेल्समेन  बन  गया  हैं.  फिल्म  के  शुरुवात   वाले  सिन  में जिसतरह  का  मौसम   था   वैसा  अभी भी हैं .पार्क  उसी जगह झांककर  देखता  हैं  जहा  पर  उसे   फिल्म  में   पहली लड़की  की  लाश मिली थी. तभी  एक छोटी लड़की  आकर  उसे   कहती हैं   की  कुछ  दिनों  पहले    एक  और आदमी  यहाँ  आकर  तुम्हारी  ही  तरह यहाँ   झांककर  देख  रहा था.  तब   पार्क लड़की से  पूछता  हैं  की   बताओ   की  वो  आदमी  कैसा  दीखता  था.  तब  लड़की कहती  हैं  की वो बिलकुल  ही  साधारण   दीखता  था  , ये   जवाब  सुनाने   के  बाद    पार्क    कैमरा के  लेंस  में देखता  हैं.    जैसे  की   वो  किलर के आँखों  में   देख  रहा  हो.ये सब  कुछ किलर  और पार्क  के बिच हो रहा हैं. मेमोरीज  ऑफ़  मर्डर  पार्क   के  और  किलर  के  बिच  में  होने  वाले  मेमोरीज  हैं. फिल्म  के किरदारों के द्वारा , उन  पर  प्रयोग  किये   गये कैमरा द्वारा और  एडिटिंग   द्वारा    हमें  डायरेक्टर   उनके पॉइंट  ऑफ़   व्यू  से बताते  हैं की  कौन   गिल्टी  हैं   और  कौन  निर्दोष   हैं. मेमोरीज   ऑफ़   मर्डर   एक   मॉडर्न   क्लासिक  फिल्म  हैं 

   इस  फिल्म  में  काफी लेयर्स  हैं,मैंने   कुछ  लेयर्स   को  उजागर करने  की कोशिश  हैं  , आप   भी   ये   फिल्म   देखे  और  आपको भी  कोनसे    लेयर्स   और   दिख  रहे हैं   कमेंट  बॉक्स  में   बताये . अच्छे  फिल्मे देखे क्यों  के   के  अच्छी   फिल्मे   अच्छी   किताबो की  तरह  होती  हैं. जो  हमें   जीवन  के  बारे में  और  पारदर्शिता देती  हैं.

                                               Memories of murder

    A show of Memories of Murder was screened at our Akola Film Club on 13/12/20. I had seen this film 2-3 times before too .... But this time the fun of this film was something else with a big screen and good quality sound. The story of the film is based about the serial killing in South Korea in the 1980s .  police department working in the worst system, and their investigation have been a special part of this film. In any case, solve the case and find murderer, this is   mentality of our film's hero Detective Park is shown in the beginning. Park (Song Kang-ho) who is a police detective. And his partner Detective Cho-yong (Roe-hye Kim) get the two to solve the case of serial killing in the city. The Police Department has sent another Detective Seo (Kim Sang-kyung) to help Detective Park. The Seo uses new methods to solve the case and Detective Park is engaged in solving the case in an old and traditional and substandard manner,disputes  happens between Seo and Park while solving the case. And at the same time, the serial killer keeps on killing the girls in  city. I have told this story in a one liner.

   But it is said that if the story and characters of the film have more than one layer, then that film is considered a good film. Memories of Murder is one such film. Director Bong Joon Ho has captured the story in camera very efficiently and has made the characters work with good actors and presented the film in front of the audience. I will not give much spoiler, you Watch this film yourself, I would like to talk about the story and the layers of direction of this film.

   In the beginning of the film, a child is shown holding a cricket worm and putting it in a bottle, when the child sits close to the crime scene, Detective Park tells the child to stay away, then this child mimics the detective. Murderer  was having fun while raping the girl and  murdered , as same  kid  was having fun while catching the worms and putting them in the bottle. May be the director has to say here that when murderer  was murdering, this child probably saw him.

    There is a scene where senior detectives ask our protagonist Detective Park  ,”tell me  which of the two people sitting in front is Guilty and who is not?” Where detective  park  is unable to tell his answer, where  Detective Park uses  traditional and oncological methods, the  detective   Seo  uses modern and right way.

    Now  take  a  look about the scene composition of this film, there is a scene  where the murder of another girl takes place in the film. While the camera  follows  the  detective  park , we  his senior officer falls down from a slope in the back. Park  goes  to  the   footprint  of   murderer  and makes a circle on the foot of the Murderer. The park turns back and we see that the forensic expert also falls down from the same slope from where the senior officer of the park slipped down, and then a tractor comes and passes over the circle made by the park. The director has told how worst and pathetic  the level of South Korea system on  that time. It is already known that the police department will not be able to solve this case and neither will the forensic department. Also, the camera has been used in such a way that we know that the killer is also with Detective Park.

   We have been repeatedly directed by different characters from their point of view on the crime scene, as well as the real killer takes us to the crime scene again and again. These  are the memories of the park. Knowing each and every lead the park follows, the camera talks to the point of view of the park, which is also the point of view of the killer. Killers  doesn’t  reveal   in the   film. Scene  on the crime spot is also shown in very good, energetic and slow motion.

   Let's do another aspect of the film. The Gwangju massacre that took place in South Korea has a lot of effect on the detective characters , people   from  south  korea  organized a movement for Democratic rightswho  have  been  in this massacre.people  killed  by  police  department  and   south  korea  government . in  film it  has  influence but not  directly,

   Hence the police department made  false evidence, very easily. Ass well very  easy  to  make people    suspect. Detective Parks are also aware of this fact,    even though by creating false evidence, the park wants to solve  the case by suspending innocent people, but he do not keep vigor at the time of introspection on  his  suspects. Detective   Seo deviate from his   fair way  to  investigate. And  try  to  kill   last  suspect. But then Detective Park  comes to and stops the Seo, and lets the strongest suspect go because his semen's samples do not match with murderer's semen samples. Detective parksustain   the  idea that   we are the people of the police department, born from the rotten street system, but now enough  is  enough  , we will not punish any suspect only with doubts. This  is  not  fair.

  In the last scene of the film, Detective Park comes back to the same place after years, the park has became a salesman.the  environment of  this scene  is  same  as  first  scene.Park looks at the place where he found the body of the first girl in the film. Then a little girl comes and tells him that a few days ago another man came here and was looking here like you. Then Park asks the girl to tell what that man looked like. Then the girl says that he looked very ordinary, after hearing this answer, Park looks into the camera lens. As if he is looking in the eyes of the killer. These things are happening between the killer and the park. Memories of Murder are memorials that take place between the park and the killer. Through the characters of the film, by the camera used on them and by editing, the director tells us from their point of view who are gilt and who are innocent. Memories  of  murder  is modern   classic  film in contemprory period.

  There are a lot of layers in this film, I have tried to highlight some layers, you too have see this film and also find  new  layers and write in the comment box. See good movies because good movies are like good books. Which gives us more transparency about life.
